Facts of Life Simple Southern Style
I had a hernia operation! Boy those things hurt. Boy I'll tell ya mine did. A long time! It was pretty nice in there, in the hospital. They had good food and everything! If it hadn't been for some of the people I never would a made it-- my sister, all uv'em. Larry Hill works up 'air. I wouldn't want a job there myslef. He washes dishes. Dadgum I coudn't handle that. I could not handle that myself! Workin' up there. Good to be back, back here, back at Cross Plains, good to be back. I been eatin' pretty good. I'm havin' soup, and sandwich, I think that's just about it-- for lunch! I've played for a long time-- pool-- I won that trophy, which I wuz very proud of! That wuz a good tournament we had. I have to check with Julie, check and see when we're goin' to have our next one, invite some people over to watch us play pool. That is a good game. I never have lost a game. I play at the Senior Center and I don't play nowhere else but the Senior Center. I didn't bring my stick today. I wun'nt goin' over there today so I didn't bring it!

Yo Mac, Your blog is pretty cool - now you're styling. Keep Kevin away from the delete button but pat him on the back and tell him "He's a good ole boy" for figuring all of this out. Do me a favor - when Kevin gets frustrated tell him it will be okay, he'll figure it out......from me.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if this is the forum for long and personal messages but here goes anyway and you can tell me differently - I too am not very familiar with blogging. My picture is old and my hair is 7 x longer now but this is how you remember me. I'll update later.
So glad you are doing better. I don't think I would like that kind of surgery. Glad the hospital staff treated you well - I like their food too - but not enough to go back and eat some more.
Tell the whole gang I said "hello" and send a big hug. Tell the computer lab experts who are probably looking over Kevin's shoulder right now that I said hello and would be happy to send messages to their blogs. Send me emails anytime to let me know how you are doing and what you are up to.
Glad Cynthia is still doing well - too bad she doesn't live closer. You are fortunate to have such a good sister and brother in law.
Are you still having coffee with your buddy in the afternoons. You are a God send and a good friend.
